Take One Picture

Take One Picture is a national programme for primary schools, which aims to inspire a lifelong love of art and learning.

Every year, we take one picture from the collection to inspire cross-curricular work in our primary classrooms.

Take One Picture 2023

In 2023, the chosen image was 'Tiger in a Tropical Storm (Surprised!)' by Henri Rousseau.

Here is a sample of some of our artwork from this year's project.

In 2022, the Take One Picture focus painting was 'A Shipwreck in Stormy Seas' by Claude-Joseph Vernet.

Some of our artwork was selected to be on display in The National Gallery in London!
