All children have a daily Mathematics lesson. Maths is also taught through other subjects as part of our cross curricular topics.
Our approach to the teaching of maths includes plenty of practical activities both inside and outside the classroom.
In addition to lessons, there are individual support programmes and provision for exceptionally able children.
Mental maths targets are a central feature of the learning and form part of the children’s homework as well as being taught in school.
