The Curriculum

Key Stages 1 and 2

We are keen for our children to want to learn, to love to learn and to have the skills

required for lifelong learning. The whole school community has come together and worked

over an extensive period of time to create a brand new, exciting, challenging and stimulating

curriculum which will be ideal for developing the children into enthusiastic, resilient and interested learners. We believe our curriculum is relevant, engaging, broad, balanced and holistic so pupils are equipped for life and can succeed in the 21st century. It also enables children to enjoy a wide range of spiritual, moral, cultural and social experiences and act to reflect our treasured values of commitment, aspiration, respect and enjoyment. Our curriculum values and ethos in school ensures teaching of and upholding essential British values of democracy, rule of law, liberty, respect and tolerance to all those with different faiths, beliefs and needs.

Through our curriculum we aim to help pupils to:

We believe that everything that goes on within school, whether  inside or outside the classroom forms part of our curriculum.
